A true vintage timepiece, the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) late 1970s Seiko DL 502R bedside digital alarm clock here - with working alarm function - serves as a helpful analog reminder to put your smart phone down.
The Seiko DP 502, made in Japan specifically for the Japanese market, features quite iconic (and retro) digital numbers. From the bold red and black color scheme to the huge alarm "plunger" Seiko put on top, this alarm clock is a striking piece of retro engineering.
The clock features a striking, and yet simple, rectangularly oval red and black plastic housing, and the time display is an old-style, 12-hour only clock, with AM and PM nomenclature.
To set the alarm, the alarm selector on the top of the clock must be depressed so it pops out – the alarm is then deactivated by pressing the alarm button down.
The Seiko DL 502 also includes a 50/60 Hz selector switch on the back.

Although this Seiko digital clock runs on Japanese standard current (100V), we will provide a seperate new voltage transformer - a $40 value - to allow the current to be stepped up to U.S. standard (120V). Care should be taken not to use this JDM clock without this transformer. Please not it is now fixed in one display angle, that cannot be changed.
