There are many vintage Seiko watches popular with Seiko enthusiasts, and for good reason - Seiko discovered the secret to manufacturing mass-produced stylish and affordable watches.

 

And it made a lot of them...

 

One of these is this petite early 1970s Seiko offering, the full serviced 1973 Seiko 17-3190 womens mechanical dress watch here. Dainty by design, this watch is a perfect accompaniment for a night out on the town.

 

The dial design is superb, with a stunning blue dial that changes hue depending on angle and slender hour and minute hands - a fantastic color contrast.

 

This vintage Seiko comes on its original integrated bracelet, and with rugged travel case and springbar tool.

  • DIAL: Light and dark blue Seiko-signed dial.

     

    CASE: Slender stainlesss-steel square case measures 19.5mm (21mm including crown) x 19.5mm, with matching caseback and integrated bracelet.

     

    CRYSTAL: Acrylic crystal, no cracks or scratches.

     

    BAND: This 17-3190 comes on its original stainless-steel integrated Seiko bracelet, with atypical textured coating that shimmers in the light.  Bracelet will fit up to an approx. 6.50 inch wrist, and features a light, narrow chain to assist in fastening the watch on the wearer's wrist.

     

    MOVEMENT: Seiko Calibre 17 manual-wind mechanical movement, manufactured in March 1973.  This womens Seiko 17-3190 has received a full service.

     

    CROWN: Stainless-steel unsigned crown.
