The Oyster Perpetual is the huge in Rolex lore - since its inception in 1931, it's laid the foundation for every model in the Rolex catalog and served as a staple collection for the company.
 
Everything about the watch is quintessentially Rolex.  We see the classic fluted bezel, timeless 34mm Oyster case, deployant buckle complete with the Rolex insignia, with the classic Oyster stainless-steel bracelet.
 
The Ref. 1005 Chronometer has stylized hour markers, and, of course, the iconic Rolex crown at 12 o'clock.  In addition, there's the added bonus of tritium lume on the minute and hour hands.
 
While the Oyster Perpetual is a time-only watch, it still offers the benefit of a Superlative Chronometer-certified movement.
