There are many vintage divers popular with collectors – like this full-serviced late 1984 Seiko 4205-0516 "Pepsi" women’s diver here – is one of these. With good reason, Seiko continues to have a tremendous cult following around its dive watches.

The design of the 4205 is classic and simple, with immediate evidence of those that came before it, namely the instantly recognizable Seiko 7002 automatic, 7548 quartz, and even the famous 6309 diver – it would be succeeded by the instantly recognizable SKX and its ubiquitous 7S26.

Seiko released the 4205 it two iterations – the Pepsi bezel insert variant here, or the black variant. Both featured a hand wound, automatic movement with a quick set date complication, albeit non hacking. Seiko produced the 4205 from the late 1970s through 1992, and its automatic movement is tough and reliable.

This Seiko diver comes with an aftermarket stainless-steel bracelet, nylon strap, rugged travel case, and springbar tool.
