There are many vintage Seiko divers popular with collectors, and the diver here – a near new-old stock (NOS) 1992 Seiko SBBC001 (7N35-6000) dive watch, on its original stainless-steel Seiko bracelet and with Seiko inner/outer boxes, instructions manual, and warranty paperwork – continues the Seiko reputation for building robust, stylish, and purpose-built divers for a wide-range of professional adventurers.
Seiko introduced the 7N35 diver line here in 1991, and it came in a range of dial colors, to include the silver/white variant here, but also black and even blue pearl.
Military forces the world over have long took note of Seiko’s dive watch lines, with their reliable movements – during its heyday and even today, Seiko divers are popular with various armed forces for this same reason, despite the widely held (false) assumption that military personnel only wear military watches issued to them.

DIAL: Silver Seiko SCUBA-signed starburst dial, with vibrant blue font - crisp writing, with no fade. Date complication at 3 o’clock position works as designed.
CASE: Stainless-steel case measures 38mm (42mm with crown) x 43.5mm; recessed crown, with matching caseback. Case lines remain sharp, with no evidence of machine polish. Screw-down crown works as designed. Bezel insert retains its crisp writing, with virtually no wear or UV fade.
CRYSTAL: Seiko Hardlex crystal, no scratches or blemishes.
BAND: This Seiko diver comes on its original stainless-steel Seiko bracelet, which will fit up to an approx. 7.25 inch wrist. This diver also comes with a black nylon strap.
